Champagne Lopez-Martin
The Vineyards

On the hillside overlooking the Marne valley, the Hautvillers vineyards, a village ranked Premier Cru, spreads over 275 hectares, where we grow with the greatest care, the three Champagne grape varieties: Pinot Noir, Meunier and Chardonnay.

Our almost 10,5 hectares of vineyards are divided as follows on the Hautvillers terroir:
- 4,45 ha Pinot Noir
- 3,74 ha Pinot Meunier
- 2,28 ha Chardonnay

except for 2700m² of Pinot Noir which are located in Cumières, a village also ranked Premier Cru and famous for its excellent Pinots Noirs.

In all, 160 plots are cultivated by ourself on 27 different zones.

The identity of this unique terroir, ideally located in the heart of the Champagne region, is reflected in our champagnes. The splitting up of the plots and their different exposures allow us to adapt each grape variety to each type of soil. The hillsides overlooking the Marne valley, situated of course around the Abbey, are perfect for the growing of Chardonnay grapes.
