April 2020: our vines with grass and pheromone dispensers. You can see one of them on the right!
This vine protection system was started in our vines for several years. Each year, a group of winegrowers from Hautvillers takes care to split the dispensers in a homogenous way throughout all their plots of vines. This collaboration ensures the disposal to be the most efficient possible whilst controlling the number of used dispensers.
This year and because of the Covid-19, each winegrower has to do this step separate in his own plots only. Everybody has to be even more careful and to communicate efficiently in order not to put too much pheromones in the vineyard of Hautvillers.
